Child made to glorify terrorism

In a catalogue of violations of the Terrorism Act in the UK, photographs posted in the LTTE website tamilnet confirms even under aged children were not spared when the LTTE celebrated Pongu Thamil in London on 12 July 2008.

Photograph published in the tamilnet confirmed a child wearing coat depicting the proscribed LTTE’s logo. Glorifying terrorism is an offence under the Terrorism Act and the activists of the LTTE did enjoy exemption from impunity over their conduct.

The child in the picture has specially shaved his head to depict something which is unreadable.

When the violation of the child was raised with a LTTE sympathiser he said ‘we have all the support from the British parliamentarians. No one can do anything to us’.

LTTE’s struggle is based on child recruitment and this culture is now being spread in the Tamil diaspora. One LTTE sympathiser said ‘we are not Muslims and the British authorities will not harm our cause like going after the Muslims’.

Child made to glorify terrorism

The article proves that the author ( JEYADEVAN - Who has NO guts to write his name) of the article did NOT attend the Pongu Tamil in London, but is writting from one off photos seen in other websites or is this child and the flag delibrately sent by Jeyadevan to show this function a LTTE one?

Even the photos Of Prabakaren was held by around 10 members who were told off by the organisors for holding the photos. The organisors must be congradulated for the great efford in organising the event with so many people and spectacular dances by young Tamils in UK. The speakers were UK MP's from Conservative, Labour and Liberal democretic party which proved it to be a support to Tamils from all three main parties in UK.

Jeyadevan and his friends who are paid employees of Sri Lankan government must be verry upset at the success of the event and this article is a example of showing their frustration. I wonder why Rajasingam of Asiantribune.com is mum about the success of the event? suprisingly he has not written anything about the event, may be he is busy counting the money he received from Rajapakshe brothers or busy asking Pillayan to kill Srinivasan of UK.

PONGU THAMIL

dear mr j. the person writing articles on the above subject is an absolute insult to your intelligence and is constantly exposed by revolutionary to the great delight of the readers. it must obviously be difficult to get someone with an element of grey matter to write articles against the genuine feelings of the vast tamil majority. however hats off to you sir. KTR constantly blocks off those who write against his views at the Asian Tribune. you have so far been magnanimus in allowing disenting view points to be published.

That's obviously a flag tied

That's obviously a flag tied that's been tied around the boy, not an "LTTE jacket".

And how would you know that the child had something shaved into his head? He obviously has hair on his head and is wearing a hat!
